Transforming Healthcare for Truck Drivers

Life on the road can be demanding, and your health should not take a back seat to your career. Long hours, unpredictable schedules, and limited access to healthcare can make staying healthy a challenge for OTR truck drivers. Studies show that unmanaged health issues can lead to missed workdays, increased stress, and long-term health complications – all of which can affect your livelihood and quality of life.

GLP Program FAQ

What are GLP-1 Medications?

GLP-1 medications are a class of medications used to treat type 2 diabetes and obesity. Brand Name medications like Ozempic, Rybelsus, Mounjaro and Wegovy are patented medications that have become in demand for treating Type 2 diabetes and helping people lose weight.

What is compounding?

Compounding is the creation of a specific medication or custom-made drug as prescribed by a physician. In this case, we are referencing the GLP-1 medication ingredients identical to the branded medication through a 503(b) pharmacy that is licensed to do this.

What is a 503(b) pharmacy?

503(b) pharmacies are federally regulated (like drug manufacturers). They are allowed to produce and distribute medications to pharmacies for distribution with valid prescriptions. Because these medications are not keeping up with demand, a 503(b) pharmacy can produce these medications and distribute them to our mail order pharmacy.

Will my Ozempic prescription work for the compounded prescription?

Your prescription for one of the compounded medications must prescribe Semaglutide or Tirezpatide, not the name brand. If there is a question from your doctor’s office, we can have our pharmacy give them and call to clarify the prescription requirements.

How do I get a prescription?

If you do not have a relationship with a local physician, you can verify that you would be a suitable candidate for these medications by taking our Qualifying Questionnaire. Then you can order the medication with the telemedicine program membership. If for whatever reason the doctor does not prescribe one of the medications, we will completely refund your money.

Where do my medications come from and how long does it take?

Your medications will be shipped out of our mail order pharmacy in Greeneville SC. Your GLP1 medications will be cold shipped via 2-day shipping through UPS. We will let you know each step of the way, including the tracking number. We will try to ship your medication within 3 days of receiving the prescription. If there is an issue in getting the prescription we may reach out to you for help in getting it. If you use our telemedicine program they will send the prescription directly to us. Then we will reach out to you monthly to verify the cost and place the order.
